Introduction to multimedia and design concepts. Pre-production and presentation graphics — presentation-graphics design, pre-production, typefaces and graphics, desktop publishing, production planning and design, and user-interface design. Hypermedia authoring concepts; multimedia sound; file compression; video production and digital video; animation; HTML and web-based multimedia and the design of web-based multimedia. Producing multimedia; content and legal considerations for multimedia; and multimedia distribution and networking.
